Ellen Goldsberry, Ph.D.

Professor and Director Emerita, Retailing and Consumer Sciences, Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing

Ellen Goldsberry, PhD. Dr. Goldsberry is faculty emeriti of University of Arizona, Retail and Consumer Sciences.  She was the founding director of the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing (TJLC) and the Global Retailing Conference. Ellen’s vision for TJLC was to establish a center that expanded opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals. Dr. Goldsberry earned her BS from Wayne State University in Family Life Education, her Master’s from Ohio University, and her PhD from The Ohio State University in Higher Education Administration.  Before beginning her career at University of Arizona, Ellen was on faculty at The Ohio State University. Ellen received the prestigious University of Arizona Alumnus honor in 1999.  In addition to her role on the Norton School Advisory Board, Ellen serves on the Circle of Engagement Advisory Board at Ohio University   and the Advisory Board to the Apparel Design Program at Pima Community College in Tucson. Ellen and her deceased husband, Phil, established a planned giving program and an endowed scholarship at both universities.  Ellen is an active member of several community groups in her home town of Athens, Ohio.
