Academic Advising

Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between a student and an advisor to assist the student in the development of meaningful educational plans and goals that are consistent with personal interests, values, and abilities. Academic advisors are available to help you plan and navigate through your college education. An advisor can help you stay on track throughout your degree program and provide guidance when you're making decisions about your career after graduation. Consistent academic advising meetings will expose students to important information, resources, and opportunities that will aid student success. We recommend meeting with your academic advisor at least once each semester to discuss your next semester's classes, academic plan and progress, and career goals. Appointments and drop-in hours are available.
