Full-time for summer 2024, and paid $15.50 to $16.00 per hour plus housing and meals during shifts.
Stock Farm Club is a Tom Fazio masterpiece opened in 1999 located in the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. Boasting one of the longest golf seasons in Montana, the course is open from May through November. Members travel from across the country to spend time in the Bitterroot to enjoy everything the club has to offer such as golf, equestrian, and shooting while also having world-class fly fishing nearby. With only 8,500 rounds per year, we believe we offer a great opportunity for you as an intern to learn the necessary skills to become a great Merchandise Manager and Golf Buyer.
We are looking for one retail intern for the 2024 season. Due to our lengthened season, we are able to host Summer and Summer/Fall interns. All grade levels of Retail and Consumer Science students are welcome to apply.
The Retail Intern will work closely with the Retail Buyer/Merchandise Manager to assist in making purchasing decisions, maintain appropriate stock levels, completing inventory processes, accurately receiving, and pricing all incoming inventory, maintaining a neat and organized stock room, and regularly updating sales floor displays to catch the customers attention. The position requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills as the person will be interacting consistently with members, guests and other staff members. Daily golf operations, team leadership and the ability to represent Stock Farm in all interactions are also required skills. We desire our interns to show an excitement to learn, and the more initiative and skill shown will be rewarded with more responsibility.
If you have an interest in this internship opportunity, resumes and inquiries can be made out to Buyer/Merchandise Manager, Elaina Kellar, at elainakellar@stockfarm.com.
