Jessica Bee graduated from the Retailing and Consumer Sciences program in December 2012. Her dream to one day work for the Norton School came true in June 2020 when she joined as the Student Services Administrator. In her role, she works with the Undergraduate Director, Dr. Darin Knapp, to build the schedule of classes each semester. She also works with the Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Melissa Delgado, and supports the graduate students to track their academic progress and completion of degree requirements through GradPath. Jessica also works in the newly updated Student Services Center and helps the advising team support students.
While attending the Norton School, Jessica earned a 10-week summer internship with Ross Dress for Less, which then led to a promotion and permanent role with Ross, as an Assistant Store Manager. This was the start of her retail management career. After Ross, she worked at J. Crew and Crate and Barrel in manager roles. Jessica also spent time working at Apple in their La Encantada store. Prior to her current role with the Norton School, Jessica most recently worked in the University of Arizona College of Medicine as an Administrative Assistant. Among her many responsibilities there, Jessica provided administrative support for two Associate Deans of Student Affairs. She also supported the preparation for all College of Medicine annual events, including Convocation, White Coat Ceremony, Orientation Week, and Match Day.
Jessica also enjoys giving back to the Tucson community. She has spent time volunteering at the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and the Ronald McDonald House. In her spare time, Jessica loves to sew and quilt with her mom and sister.
