As a Design Intern, you will work directly with the Design team and be exposed to the various stages of product development from concept to final delivery. You will be gain exposure to both creative and administrative functions and be an integral member of the team!
We will be hiring a new intern starting in January 2020. Our internships are in 2 month intervals with the possibility of extending through 6 months. Interns are required to be in the office once a week. Internship days are flexible.
Responsibilities
- Organize and help maintain design room, prototypes, boards, and development books.
- Assist in research of seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials and styling focused on the needs of the Amour Vert consumer.
- Prepare and maintain presentation boards with seasonal sketches, fabrics, color, print and trim.
Qualifications
- Must be creative, motivated, organized, detail oriented. Should enjoy working on individual tasks but also comfortable with collaboration.
- Willingness to jump-in and fill in as needed.
- Ability to be flexible and switch gears in our fast paced design environment.
- Currently pursuing Degree in fashion design, or recent graduate of fashion design or related subject
- Strong skills in Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Hand drawn flat sketching skills.
- Ability to multi-task, demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Previous design work experience a plus.
