Program: Looking for a Student to complete Social Media Internship with Santa Cruz County. The student will:
1. Create a University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, Santa Cruz County (UACE, SCC) social media strategic plan
2. Work with each UACE, SCC program to come up with goals (i.e. drive more folks to our website, provide information, etc.)
3. Create posts to support those goals
4. Create a database of pre-made posts that can be searched (i.e. a staff member searches for posts relevant to 2-year-olds, etc.)
5. Run Analytics to find out which posts are most popular, when are folks visiting our website and webpages, etc.
UACE, SCC offers ten programs in SCC: Child Care Health Consultation, Commercial Horticulture, Commercial Livestock, Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Family Resource Centers, Financial Literacy, Positive Discipline, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed), and 4-H. Dates: Available for Summer, Fall, or Spring. Specific work dates will be arranged with supervisor
Location: The student can work remotely. They are welcome to come down to the office in Nogales, but it is not required.
Number of Units: Students can choose to enroll in 1-3 units, depending on the needs of the student and the organization. (45 hours are required for every 1 unit enrolled).
