Internship Flyer & How to Apply
The Arizona Legislative Internship Program (ALIP) is a partnership between the University of Arizona and the State of Arizona that invites students from each of Arizona’s universities to participate in a paid internship with either the Arizona State Legislature, Office of the Governor, and Arizona Supreme Court every year.
Students selected as interns will conduct research, draft bill summaries, present prospective legislation, monitor bills of importance, communicate with elected officials, and complete other tasks as assigned under the supervision of legislative and executive staff. In this role, student interns will focus on supporting the creation and implementation of public policy while meeting academic obligations of the University of Arizona.
