The Financial Freedom Club (FFC) is a UArizona club that was founded in the Fall of 2020 with the goal of educating students on relevant financial topics. The club is open to all students, regardless of major or financial knowledge. This is a club for students who want to deepen their knowledge of personal finance topics, and also for students who want to connect with others who are interested in money management and how individuals can improve their own financial well-being. The idea for this club came from Wendy McBroom ('22, personal and family financial planning), a Take Charge Cats Ambassador, who noticed a lack of financial literacy among college students. Other Take Charge Cats were also instrumental in launching this club and building it into the student organization that it is today.
