Tucson High Magnet School MTSS Internship
We are looking for highly motivated candidates to partner with the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) program Facilitator as an intern. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with students, parents, and other stakeholders to encourage student success in academics, attendance, behavior, and social emotional learning (SEL).
Job Description
As an MTSS Intern you would be responsible for academic mentoring of a case load of ~20+ students. Communicating with parents/guardians and staff about the MTSS plan created for each student. Weekly meetings with the student and progress monitoring. Bimonthly meetings with MTSS team to discuss students and strategies for improving academic success.
Training will be provided, and interns will be placed with a mentor support specialist.
